camping

We had an amazing weekend! We took our first family camping trip. We took the camper to Ocean City with our friends. It was sooo fun!! We all really enjoyed ourselves, even Noah and Rose. The babies slept in the bunks in the camper with Chuck and me and they didn't even wake up once! Kris and Cathy had no sleep in the tent that they brought:( The olds were drunk next door!

They both slept all night long and woke up in a great mood!!

It was our first time going to the beach with Noah. We couldn't stay long because it was kinda chilly, but Noah loved the beach and the sand and even the ocean. He sat on the beach and picked up the sand in between his fingers and dropped it and rubbed his fingers together. He was fascinated with the whole thing.

This was Noah's first time putting him feet into the ocean! It was cccccccccccold, but he didn't mind. He loves him some water! No matter how cold:)

After we hit Assateague we stopped for some ice cream and we thought it would be funny to put Noah in a sharks mouth! He loved it and thought that it was as funny as we did:)

Then somebody gave him some ice cream, I have no idea who would do that. Give a baby ice cream!!! Okay, okay, I did it. I know, I am a bad mommy. But he loves ice cream!!!! He is definitely his mothers son:)

After the ice cream our friends went home:( But that was okay because we had loads of fun just the three of us. Noah had his veggies and puffs (which were hard to convince him to eat because all he wanted was some darn ice cream! Like I said- bad mommy!) But isn't he cute in his little camping highchair!

After forcing the veggies down his throat we took a walk to the pool and stopped to admire this bazaar mix of animals. a pony, donkey, baby bull and a goat.
Recently Noah is not interested in snuggling, he just wants to get down and crawl around and get away....
...see! I am pretending to have a nice moment with my kid on the beach, but no, in reality he is pushing me as hard as he can while yelling and trying to get the heck away from me:(


Regardless of the less snugly Noah, we had an absolutely amazing time camping as a family. We are really looking forward to camping many more times this summer and the summers to come!! We are also looking forward to spending more time with our friends and making great momories together.

On a side note...

Other than taking our first camping trip, visiting the beach for the first time, eating ice cream and all the other cool stuff we did this weekend, we also had a very eventful week.

First, Noah has almost grown out of his baby carseat and he is now in his big boy carseat. He doesnt really look like a big boy in it though!
Second, Noah started to crawl on Tuesday!!
Third, Noah had his first taste of formula. I have seemed to lose my amazing supply so we talked with his dr and decided that he needed to be supplimented. We are a bit sad, but we know that formula is a great source of nutition and he will still be getting breastmilk for a while. We were so proud of him for taking so well to the formula, he drank it and didnt even act like it was anything different.
